Raw footage:
Task 2: Studio Lighting
Task 3: Montage, Collage, Compositing
I used the original music video panels as a reference for the Akira ones.
My frames:
Project 1: Collaborative Film
Since I did not edit the final video, I do not have access to all of the raw footage. however, I partook as a cameraperson and directed a fair few of the shots. One of the most notable shots was the one looking down the centre of the spiral staircase. This one was fear-inducing, and I held the camera with an iron grip to ensure that it would have zero chance of slipping, falling, and shattering into a million pieces.
Task 4: Sound: Narration, Foley, Atmosphere, and Music
Various sound sources:
Task 5: Colour Correction and Grading

Task 6: The Interview

Project 2: Self-Directed Project
After creating my plan, I realised that the concept was incredibly similar to a video I made a few years prior. I didn't want to simply recreate one of my past works, so I decided it would be best to switch up the premise a little.
Around this time, I was reading a story that featured Anterograde Amnesia, and it really inspired me. originally I was hesitant to copy the premise, but then realised that I could choose to do literally anything, and that no one would recognise the story refence anyway.
Ironically, I didn't end up going with this idea either. I got Covid and had a few days to just lie around and reflect upon my life decisions, and ended up changing my mind once again. I solidified an idea with a clearer storyline, and developed thumbnails to use as a guide when filming.

I didn't proceed with this version because I felt that the colours were a bit too out there, and that the ending was too abrupt.
